Let’s Make Baby Food Better

As parents with young children living in Thailand, we experienced firsthand the challenges of providing quality food to babies. Apart from the lack of healthy baby food options in the stores, we realized that many parents like us were also in need of better education and support about how to feed their children. Meanwhile, Thailand and other neighbouring countries currently face a growing health crisis with obesity and other diet related diseases at record levels (Thailand is currently the 2nd most obese country in SEA and the growth rate of child obesity is rising fast). With increasing evidence confirming the important link between the kinds of food a baby is introduced to and their eating habits later in life, we believe that it is more important than ever for action to be taken to improve the quality of child nutrition in Thailand.

Therefore, we are determined to make baby food better in Thailand by focussing our efforts in the following two areas:
1. Improving the selection of healthy foods available to babies and young children
2. Developing educational programs to support better education of about weaning and child nutrition

In this way we hope to play a role in improving the overall quality of nutrition amongst children in Thailand and all the countries in which we operate.
